Free, Configurable Ceramic Teapot Template to Print
Moldea generates a full teapot template for slab building: the two-section body, the cone-shaped spout and the handle each come as their own adjustable piece, ready to print at true 1:1 scale.
The body has a belly and a neck (two sections, like the vase), plus a cone-shaped spout and a handle that are built separately. Defaults: 70mm base, 130mm belly, 60mm rim, 50+45mm of body height, a spout tapering from 22 to 12mm over 55mm, and an 80×22mm handle — every one of those is independently adjustable.
How to use the template
Open the tool with the teapot already selected and adjust body, spout and handle with the sliders — each piece has its own controls.
Use the 3D preview to check the spout and handle look proportioned to the body before printing.
Download the SVG or print each piece at true 1:1 scale (all of them include their own 100×100mm calibration square).
Assemble the body section by section, then attach the spout and handle separately once the body is leather-hard — leave room for the lid before closing the rim.
Frequently asked questions
Does the template include the lid?
The template generates the body, spout and handle; the lid is shaped by hand to fit whatever rim diameter you set.
Can I resize the spout without affecting the body?
Yes, the spout has its own measurements (base diameter, tip diameter and length), fully independent from the rest of the teapot.
How big is the teapot by default?
The body is about 95mm tall in total with a 130mm belly; you can scale the whole thing or adjust each measurement separately depending on how much tea you want it to hold.
