Moldea generates the template for a flowerpot with sloped walls, round or rectangular, with the drainage hole already marked on the base: set the measurements and the tool works out the exact development, enlarged for your clay's shrinkage, ready to print at true 1:1 scale.
Open the tool with the Flowerpot preloaded →A flowerpot with sloped walls that you can make round (a cone frustum) or rectangular (four trapezoid walls), with a drainage hole in the base whose diameter you set. By default the round one is a 150mm rim, 100mm foot and 120mm tall, and the rectangular one has a 120×90mm base, a 140×110mm rim and is 110mm tall — everything is adjustable.
Yes: you choose between a round shape (a cone frustum) and a rectangular one (four flat trapezoid walls). On the rectangular one the 3D preview doesn't show the drainage hole yet, but it's cut out on the base pattern.
With a diameter slider: Moldea caps the maximum so firm clay is left around the hole, and draws it on the base pattern.
Round: 150mm rim, 100mm foot and 120mm tall. Rectangular: 120×90mm base, 140×110mm rim and 110mm tall. All of them can be changed.
